Dacheng Attorneys Attend Airplane Delivery Ceremony at Boeing Company

On February 27 (US West Coast Time), senior partner Wu Jingjing from Dacheng’s Shanghai office was invited by The Boeing Company and AVIC International leasing Co., Ltd. to attend a signing ceremony, in which the airplane manufacturer set to deliver Boeing 737-800s to an airline company, at the headquarters of Boeing in Seattle. Ms. Wu had previously represented AVIC International Leasing Co., Ltd. on airplane leasing. Ms. Ju Yunbo, an executive from the leasing company and attorney Liu Chang also participated in the ceremony.

Ms. Wu exchanged ideas on law practice issues of purchasing and leasing civil airplanes and the application of the Cape Town Convention in China in relation to the protection of buyer and leaser’s interests with participating guests from the Civil Aviation Administration of China and staff from Boeing.

Ms. Wu’s team specializes in airplane financing, lease and operating lease. Her team has represented a number of bank-backed and non-bank-backed leasing companies and has advised on the leasing of ten Boeing and Airbus civil planes and a few Bombardier and Gulfstream general-purpose planes, covering processes of purchase, lease, delivery and maintenance of planes.
