On November 25 2011, at the 73rd working conference of the IPO Review Committee for GEM of CSRC, the IPO application of Beijing Hualubaina Film and TV Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “HLBN”) was approved. The company intends to issue 15mln tradable shares, the addition of which will lead to a total of 60mln shares in capitalization. Jonten Certified Public Accountants serves as auditor for the issuer while Huaxi Securities serves as sponsor.

 

HLBN is mainly engaged in the investment, production, distribution and other derivative business for films and TV plays. So far, it has participated in the production of “The Dream of Red Mansions” ( “Hongloumeng” in Chinese Pinyin, 2010 TV series), “The Founding of a Republic” (“Jianguo Daye”), “Beginning of the Great Revival” (Jiandang Weiye), “Naughty Boy Ma Xiaotiao” (“Taoqibao Ma Xiaotiao”), “Future X-cops” (“Weilai Jingcha”), “Indelible Designation” (“Yongbu Momie de Fanhao”), “Romance Left, Marriage Right” (“Langman Xiangzuo, Hunyin Xiangyou”), “The Tang Empire” (Zhenguan Zhizhi), “Zhang Juzheng”, “Double-sided Tape” (“Shuangmianjiao”), “A Beautiful Daughter-in-Law Era”(“Xifu De Meihao Shidai”), “Wanggui & Anna”(“Wanggui Yu Anna”), “The Firmament Of The Pleiades”(“Cangqiong Zhi Mao”) and so on. The current round of fundraising will replenish working capital for film and play production.

 

The IPO project was undertaken by Dacheng senior partner Wei Junxian, attorneys Yuan Yuan, Liu Tao and Zhou Lin, with Wei acting as project leader. It is the ninth successful IPO application project Dacheng has handled so far this year.
