On June 20 2012, the Issuance Examination Committee of CSRC, following the 120th conference, announced that the initial public offering application of Avic Culture Co., Ltd. was approved.
A project team composed of Dacheng senior partner Zhang Gang, attorney Chen Lingling and a few others acted as legal counsel for Avic Culture Co. on its IPO.
Founded in 1995 and previously known as Avic Public Relations and Advertising Company, Avic Culture Co. is a subsidiary of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (“AVIC”) that engages in TV ads agency, outdoor ads, new media operation, film and television making, design and production of print ads, and planning of public relations initiatives. As a large-scale state-owned cultural enterprise, it is now one of China’s first-class advertisers, leading the industry both in influence and overall strength. It is also one of the ten advertising agencies of CCTV, China’s predominant television broadcaster. Avic Culture Co. is scheduled to issue no more than 33.3388mln RMB-denominated shares (A-shares) for the IPO.
