Dacheng Successfully Holds Symposium on Pushing Forward Mixed-ownership Reform by Exploiting Capital Markets Rules

On December 7, 2014, the symposium “Pushing forward Mixed-ownership Reform by Exploiting Capital Markets Rules” was held in Beijing. The symposium was initiated by the Committee of Economy of All China Lawyers Association and held by Dacheng, with support from the Research Center of SASAC of the State Council. 

The symposium attracted leaders of investment strategies and legal departments of over 40 central enterprises and invited scholars known for research in mixed-ownership, presiding officers of capital markets regulatory authorities and industry veterans from agency service providers. 

The symposium was co-hosted by Dacheng senior partner Yu Xugang and journalist Wang Pan from Xinhua News Agency. Speakers included Jin Shan, official from All China Lawyers Association, Zhang Lei, senior partner from Dacheng, Liu Wei, executive vice-president of Peking University, Xie Jun, head of Property Management Bureau of SASAC, Liu Zhengdong, head of the Committee of Economy of All China Lawyers Association, Li Zhigang, judge of the Supreme People’s Court, Feng Henian, head of CSRC’s Shandong Office, Peng Jianguo, vice head of the Research Center of SASAC, and Wang Xiaojin, deputy chief researcher of the Research Center of Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The speakers shared their thoughts and innovative solutions from different angels, such as fundamental theories, regulatory, external conditions, the exploitation of the platform of capital markets, roles of agency service providers and judicial support and guarantee, on how to practise mixed-ownership by applying rules of the capital markets.
