On September 21-22, 2014, the 3rd Dacheng Cup Football Game was held in Chengdu. This year’s match, organized by Dacheng’s Chengdu office, was characterized by its unprecedented scale—17 teams from Dacheng’s branch offices and over 400 players took part. The opening ceremony of the match was addressed by Yang Yunkui, president of Chengdu Lawyers Association and Wang Hanqi, vice-president of Joint Conference of Dacheng Global Legal Service Network. After two days’ fierce battle, Chengdu Racing Team defended its championship and Shanghai Team and Ningbo Team came in second and third place respectively. 

Dacheng Cup, a big event succeeding “Journey of Dacheng” series of bike rides, once against demonstrated to the public the spirit of enterprise within the firm. 

Dacheng is now in the course of implementing its third five-year plan which has shifted focus of the firm from scale to specialization. Its Chengdu office, with support from the Beijing headquarters and other offices, has also made important progress along the way. During the 6th Chengdu Lawyers Congress ending on September 12, Leng Yunsong, executive head of the office, was elected deputy director of the Supervisory Committee of Chengdu Lawyers Association and Tan Xiaomei elected member of the Supervisory Committee. The Chengdu office was named Outstanding Law Firm in Chengdu for 2011-2014 by local justice bureau and lawyers association, and attorneys Leng Yunsong and Luo Ji were recognized as Outstanding Lawyers in Chengdu for the same time period. 

Dacheng’s Chengdu office will continue to pursue excellence, practice Dacheng’s core values and promote its name brand. It is also committed to becoming a best branch office of Dacheng.
