Dacheng Wins China Business Law Journal’s 2013 China Business Law Award and Deals of the Year Award

In China Business Law Journal (“Shangfa” in Chinese pinyin) annual selection, Dacheng grabbed a “China Business Law Awards” in the area of private equity & venture capital and technology, media & communications, and a “2013 Deals of the Year” award for providing legal advice relating to the establishment of China Life (Suzhou) City Development Equity Investment Enterprise. Results of the selection were released in the first and second issues of the journal for 2014.

Dacheng was invited to participate in 2013 China Business Law Awards survey at the end of 2013 that set to find and acknowledge the best Chinese and international law firms in various practice areas. The editorial team sent out questionnaires to solicit candidate recommendation and opinions from in-house counsels, corporate executives and law firms from home and abroad, while upholding the principle of equity and objectivity. To ensure the trustworthiness of the results, candidates were not allowed to recommend themselves, but should only be recommended by clients and/or other firms.

The 2013 Deals of the Year survey started in October 2013. China Life (Suzhou) City Development Equity Investment Enterprise, advised by senior partner Yu Hui, made it to the honor roll, showing Dacheng’s competitive edge and good reputation in relevant practice areas.
