On January 29, 2015, a signing ceremony was held in Guangzhou over the cooperation of green fuel between Zhongde Metal Group, Guangdong Rising Assets Management Co., Ltd. and Germany-based ALBA Group.
The green fuel cooperation project was initiated in one of the ten economic cooperative agreements signed at the witness of president Xi Jinping and German chancellor Angela Merkel on March 28, 2014. It is the only project based in Guangzhou. In the project, world-leading, third-generation waste disposal technology would be adopted to transfer municipal solid waste into power-generating green coal, so as to improve the efficiency of waste disposal and overall utilization.
Senior partners Bai Shuang, Zhou Liang and paralegal Liu Lei participated in negotiations in relation to the green fuel project on behalf of Zhongde Metal Group and completed filing and registration procedures for offshore investment structures of the group. The project involved formation of an offshore company, purchase of German-based business and round-trip investment.
