Education
Mr.Wei received his bachelor’s degree at Philosophy from Liaocheng Normal College in 1993, and received his law degree from the School of Law at Tsinghua University; In May 2008 he received the degree of Master of Law(LL.M) from IIT(Illinois Institute of Technology) Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Working Experiences
Mr.Wei worked in CNKI as a legal editor in chief from 2000 to the end of 2001,and worked as an attorney in Beacon Law Firm from 2002 through 2007, in Grandfield Law Offices from 2008 through 2010. In Sept. 2010 Mr.Wei joined Dacheng Law Offices as a partner.

Publications
Mr. Wei was awarded the 3rd prize for his excellent treatise on UCITA and Building of Chinese Electronic Contract Law System by China Law Society in 2000. His first book (monograph) on Theory and Practice of Electronic Contract Law was published by Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications Press (BUPT PRESS) in 2001. His second book (as a coauthor) on Legal Practice of Antitrust and Anti-unfair Competition was published by Peking University Press in 2012. In 2008 his article Proving Network Copyright and E-commerce Claims In Chinese Courts was published on International Law News hosted by ABA(American Bar Association). His Reporter on Chinese Antitrust in 2013 and another Reporter on Chinese Antitrust in 2014 were published.

Social Activities
Mr.Wei is the deputy director of the Legal Committee of Competition and Antitrust of the Beijing Lawyers’ Association and the Secretary-General of the Information Network and E-commerce Legal Committee of the Beijing Bar Association (BLA). His legal opinion on judicial interpretation review with regard to anti-monopoly law was mostly adopted by the PRC Supreme Court in its public review version. Mr Wei is one member of suggestion for revision research team set up by SAIC on Anti-unfair competition Law. Mr. Wei is often called up for his legal opinions by local news outlets, including People’s Daily, Legal Daily and Legal Evening Paper.
