Education
James graduated from Law Department of Peking University and East China University of Politics and Law in 2000 and 1989 and got LLM and LLB respectively.

Working Experiences
James LIN is a partner in our Corporate & Capital Markets Department of Dacheng Law Offices. Prior to joining Dacheng, James was a partner at another well known PRC firm, with responsibility for its cross-border capital market practice. James was previously with a leading UK law firm, Simmons & Simmons as their PRC Legal Consultant for four years and prior to that, he worked as a practisng PRC lawyer for 12 years.

Qualifications
James passed his PRC lawyer qualification in 1989 and became a C-grade lawyer in 1995
James was also listed in Who's Who of Professionals, 2006-2007

James LIN has extensive knowledge of PRC law and substantial international law firm working practice. His practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, private equity and venture capital, inward and outward investment, dispute resolution, foreign exchange, corporate finance, banking and finance, and restructuring,international trade, property development and management, project finance, employment, and tax.
James has advised in relation to the full range of equity, debt and derivative offerings on worldwide Stock Exchanges, particularly in Hong Kong, Shanghai, New York, Shenzhen, London, and Singapore, Taiwan, as well as other international markets
He has provided specialist advice to a wide range of finance industry professionals including issuers, underwriters, financial consultants, placement agents, investment funds managers, and private investors
