Eva Niu is a partner at Dentons Beijing office and is qualified both China and US (New Jersey and New York). She specializes in cross-border transactions and dispute resolution related to international commerce. She litigates international related commercial and investment disputes throughout China and sits as counsel before arbitration tribunals, including China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) and International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
In connection with her extensive litigation background, Ms. Niu helps clients navigate risks and achieve their objectives in cross border transactions, with a particular focus on corporate governance, internal compliance, and export control. She also advises clients on employment policies and handles disputes on individual and collective employment contracts.
She is active in the NGO sector and routinely advises nonprofits and associations at the intersection of laws and policy, with a particular emphasis on poverty relief and education. She has advised International Red Cross, University of Edinburgh, Notre Dame University, and various schools and education institutes on their operation in China. She served on board of trustees in two of the international schools in Beijing for 7 years and advised numerous private schools in the establishment and closing process.
