-Representing the Foreign Ministry of the State of Israel in relations to Israel’s preparation for the 2010 Expo in Shanghai.
-Consulting a Chinese pharmaceutical company for the establishment of a joint venture with an US-Israeli pharmaceutical group.
-Consulting a foreign company for the establishment of a joint venture with a Chinese party in the Alternative Energy Industry.
-Legal counsel for the Israeli Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.
-Consulting a group of Chinese investors in large-scale media transactions with a Metro-Goldwyn Mayer the US movie studio.
-Consulting an Israeli-Chinese joint venture in the high tech industry regarding an IPO listing in the Shenzhen Stock exchange.
-Consulted Solarfun Power Holding in a series of global solar transactions with a total amount of over 1 billion USD.
-Representing a leading telecommunication solution company in the corporate re-structure of its China operations.
-Advising a leading international university for an establishment of a Sino-foreign university in China.
-Representing an online games media company in a large acquisition project. The project involved international joint legal collaboration involving Chinese and Singaporean law. After re-structure, legal team saved the client approximately RMB 7,000,000 in tax. Total investment value was approximate RMB 124,000,000.
-Co-managed the legal services related to the acquisition of a BVI company with substantial real estate assets in Dalian. The project involved approximately 300,000 square meters with a total investment of over US$350,000,000.

Practice Areas
Amit specializes in cross-border transactions with emphasis on foreign direct investment (inbound and outbound), cross border mergers and acquisition, corporate law, clean tech, media, labor law, intellectual property, and international dispute resolution. Outbound investment to Israel/California/United States focuses on the following areas: real estate, high-tech and bio-tech.

Social Activities
Amit is the Vice Chair of the China Committee of the American Bar Association, Section of International Law, and is the Chief Editor of the China Law E-Bulletin a periodical publication of the American Bar Association. Amit is also member of the Business Law and the Real Estate Sections of the California Bar Association and of the China Law Committee of the International Law Section of the American Bar Association, with a focus on investment in the high tech industry between China, Israel and the United States. Amit also serves as the Executive Director of the International Legal Skills Center (www.internationallegalskills.com) which provides training to law firms.

Amit is the creator of China Law Flash (www.chinalawflash.com), a professional blog which focus on Chinese business law and practice and received an excellence award by Da Cheng Law Offices for his legal work. Amit is a co-founder of the Israeli Chamber of Commerce in China (www.ischam.org) and the Israeli Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (www.ischamshanghai.org) and served as a member of their respective Board of Directors. Amit is a frequent speaker about Chinese business law and has been invited as a guest speaker by China’s and Israel’s leading universities, the American Bar Association, Israel’s Export Institute, and China International Radio.
