Professional Experience 
Mr. Jiang has 18 years’ experience in the field of across-border investment and financing and construction projects, providing legal services regarding legal advice and dispute resolution for more than 200 across-border investment and construction projects, e.g. Nigeria MJ-ALG double-circuit transmission line and substation project, the first wind power station (AMADA) in Ethiopia, Ecuador copper and gold acquisition project, acquisition of Liberia heavy oil power station project, investing for Mozambique cement plant project, USA Butter Creek wind-power project, South American gold mine project, Indonesia Kalama hydropower station BOOT project, Myanmar refinery development project, Middle East airport project, the suspension of payment of 37 Libyan Bank Guarantees, Guarantee dispute in a Libyan construction project, EP project of cement plant in Pakistan, arbitration in SIAC for dispute between Chinese SOE and BVI company regarding the development of wind turbine.
1. In charge of the case of CRCC-Tongguan buying Corriente Resources, which has been listed by China Business Law Journal as the “Top 10 Mergers & Acquisitions Deals of the Year” in 2010 among other listed cases such as the case of Petro China-Royal Dutch/Shell buying Arrow Energy, CNOOC buying stake in Bridas, Sinopec’s acquisition of 55% of Sonangol, Zhejiang Geely buying Volvo and Guangdong Nuclear Power acquiring Meiya Power. CRCC-Tongguan Investment, a joint venture between Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Holdings, the PRC’s second largest copper producer, and state-owned China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) paid C$679 million (US$686 million) for Vancouver based Corriente Resources, a major producer of copper in Ecuador.
2. Appointed as the responsible lawyer for the Team of Demand Guarantee under the Libyan Crisis Management Group organized by China International Contractors Association and was the sole practicing lawyer in the aforesaid team. Since then Mr. Jiang has been providing legal services in respect of Libya-related projects to the enterprises doing Libya-related business and promoting the supreme court of China to draft the guiding opinion regarding demand bank guarantee.
3. Assumed the office of general counsel for China Mega Group Project, coordinated with various professional institutions from Hong Kong, Cayman Island and the project-host country in which the project was implemented, and carried out due diligence, legal risk analysis, structure design, negotiation, execution, closing, reorganization and overseas listing and so on, which led to the successful acquisition of Sara Creek, the world-class gold mine in South America. Mr. Jiang continued to be appointed as the permanent general counsel of the Group company.
