Dentons Advises Zhejiang Langdi Group Co., Ltd. on SSE Listing

On April 21, 2016, Zhejiang Langdi Group Co., Ltd. (“Langdi Group”, stock code: 603726) listed its shares on Shanghai Stock Exchange following a successful IPO. A Shanghai-based team which included senior partner Wang Hanqi and partners Liu Yun and Fan Jianhong, being the legal advisor for Langdi Group regarding the IPO and the listing, were invited to the thanksgiving party and the SSE launching ceremony held in Shanghai.

The team led by Wang and Liu provided all-round legal services for Langdi Group, including confirming with the provincial government on the origins and evolutions of all affiliates of the group, designing and improving the group’s internal management structure, applying for the IPO and answering enquires from relevant agencies, and the eventual IPO and listing. The attorneys’ expertise, diligence and carefulness were highly commended by the issuer and also won respect and recognition from other participating intermediaries.

Langdi Group is primarily engaged in the design and manufacture of fans and fan blades used in air-conditioners, with a substantial market share in the industry. It is a long-term business partner of Gree Group and Midea Group. The group offered 23,680,000 RMB-denominated shares (A-shares) at RMB11.73 per share at the IPO. Proceeds from the offering would be employed for a fan blade production project and the manufacture of extra 3,500,000 commercial air-conditioners yearly as well as the construction of a R&D center.
