At the second council meeting of Xiamen industry guiding fund held on June 27, 2015, the plans on the formation of the fund’s first seven industry sub-funds as well as the Qianhai equity investment fund were approved. A Xiamen-based team led by attorney Liu Shiping, acting as legal counsel for Xiamen Venture Capital Co., Ltd., the trustee of the industry guiding fund, conducted due diligence in relation to the formation of the funds.. The due diligence report issued by Dacheng’s Xiamen Office provided important reference for experts assessing the formation of the funds.

The seven sub-funds and Qianhai equity investment fund aim to raise a total of RMB15mln. The seven sub-funds is targeted at RMB5.103bln, by fully tapping the leverage effect of RMB1.39bn worth of public money and attracting more than RMB3.713bn social capital. Funds collected will be invested in prioritized industrial sectors in Xiamen.
