On January 20, 2012, in accordance with acquisition agreement signed by the Kazakhstan Water Design Institute Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Design Institute of Water"), HYDROCHINA CORPORATION (HYDROCHINA) and Science Research Institute, CHIDI, CHECC（SRICC）, completed the payment to eight equity transferors of Kazakhstan Water. This marks the successful completion of this transaction. The new Design Institute of Water was officially established and started operating.
Design Institute of Water of the territory of Kazakhstan is the only engineering corporation capable of making hydropower program, surveying and designing, technology consulting. HYDROCHINA is now expanding the international business to Central Asia and the Russian countries at the core of Kazakhstan, striving to create a multinational engineering corporation, exploring the localized operating model. HYDROCHINA started the purchase project with SRICC since 2008, and successfully accomplished it in January 2012 with the delivery of target equity.
Mr.Jiang Rongqing, Senior partner of Dacheng, took in charge of this project and accomplished it by working with GRATA Law Firm from Kazakhstan.
