Dentons wins Best Learning and Development Programme at the MPF Awards 2020

London—Dentons has won Best Learning and Development Programme at the MPF Awards 2020.

Presented by the Managing Partners' Forum, the annual awards took place in London on 3 March celebrating the vital contribution of leaders and management experts to the strategy and smooth operation of businesses and their clients.

Dentons took home this award for its Progressive Leadership Development Pathway which the firm began developing in 2016, involving a suite of five interdependent leadership programmes aimed at developing high performing associates and partners. The pathway incorporates innovative research in neuroscience and emotional intelligence to transform how to think, lead and engage with diverse and multi-generational talent.

The judges "liked the range of components aimed at leadership development, and the great variety of creative and modern learning options made available. The testimonials to the various programmes showed effective learning and this was reflected in quantitative measures of personal development."

Dentons also came second place in three further categories: Best Diversity Initiative for its Big Inclusion Project, Best Community Programme for its PopLaw legal advice clinics in London, and Best New Solutions for Clients for its collaboration with NatWest Legal to provide pro bono support to the National Centre for Domestic Violence.

Jeremy Cohen, Dentons' CEO for the UK and Middle East, said, "We are incredibly proud to be recognised yet again for our first class talent development, inclusion and diversity, and pro bono initiatives at the MPF Awards. These excellent projects represent our commitment to investing in our people, the communities in which we live and work, and ultimately in providing our clients with the best solutions to their business needs, as we continue to build the law firm of the future."

In 2018, Dentons won Best Managed International Firm for the second consecutive year at the MPF Awards, and was also named runner-up in three categories, including Best Co-ordination in Winning New Work, Best Community Engagement, and Best Programme for Leadership Development. In 2017, Dentons won in four categories: Best Managed International Firm, Best Performing Legal Brand, Best Programme for Leadership Development and Best Co-ordination in Winning New Work.
