Dentons China’s Legal Counsel Service is highly recognized by the Ministry of Natural Resources

The Ministry of Natural Resources recently sent a letter of appreciation to Dentons China, highly recognizing the legal counsel services provided by Dentons China, praising the rigorous attitude and professionalism of the counsel team, and hoping that Dentons China will continue to follow and support the legal construction of China's natural resources area.

In April 2017, after competitive comparisons, Dentons China stood out from more than 40 law firms and was appointed as the perennial legal counsel for the Ministry of Natural Resources (formerly the Ministry of Land and Resources). In 2018, due to the excellent work that has been done, we were re-appointed. The team members include: Yang Guisheng, Yuan Huazhi, Zhang Dong, Yang Guanshan, Zhang Xidong, Li Chen, Jiang Wenjun, Yang Haoran, Liu Lin.

The Department of Natural Resources Law and Regulations expressed that Yang Guisheng, as the head and coordinator of the legal counsel team, has demonstrated outstanding professionalism in the process of providing legal services such as representing complex and difficult cases, major legislative or law enforcement matters and legal training; Liu Lin, the resident lawyer, has a solid legal theoretical foundation and was fully committed to work with a high sense of responsibility. She was responsible for the coordination of drafting administrative lawsuits of the Ministry of Natural Resources, management work such as registering, organizing, coordinating, supervising, organizing case files, and heavy work such as assisting in court sessions, taking records. She timely completed the specific tasks assigned by the Department of Laws and Regulations in high quality.

In the future, Dentons China’s Legal Service Team will, as always, actively cooperate with the Department of Laws and Regulations, the Department of Business and all relevant supporting units of the Ministry of Natural Resources to provide legal services for the Ministry of Natural Resources’ (formerly the Ministry of Land and Resources) legislation, law enforcement, administrative reconsideration and litigation, give full play to the professional supporting role of legal counsel, and promote the legal construction of the natural resources area.
