On November 15, 2018, Dentons Beijing team successfully won the bid to serve as the standing legal counsel of Beijing New Airport Management Center of Capital Airport Holding (the Center).

Established in July 2018, the Center is a branch of Capital Airport Holding Company (CAH), responsible for the preparation and management of Beijing Daxing International Airport (BDIA), and the provision of various services, such as ground support, parking management, house rental, advertising agent, and property management, for foreign and domestic aviation companies.

The BDIA is a key project of the national Twelfth Plan and Thirteenth Plan. Once it is completed, the airport will become the largest integrated transportation hub for both air and ground traffic in China, and a world-class airport cluster with complementary functions in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will be formed to better serve the national strategies of Beijing- Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development, the Belt and Road Initiative, and issues of national interest such as the Xiong'an New Area.
