Changsha Office Signs Strategic Cooperative Agreement with Central China (Hunan) Import-Export Commodity Exhibition and Trade Center
On the morning of November 6, 2014, a promotional event for Central China (Hunan) Import-Export Commodity Exhibition and Trade Center, which was hosted by Department of Commerce of Hunan province and the municipal government of Changsha, organized by the government of Kaifu District, Changsha and Changsha Jinxia Economic Development Zone and assisted by Changsha Jinxia Customs Bonds Logistics Center and Hunan Jiade Group, was successfully held at Empark Hotel, Changsha. The theme of the event was “Connect Hunan with the World”. 

Central China (Hunan) Import-Export Commodity Exhibition and Trade Center, located in Changsha Jinxia Bonded Area, is a key government-funded project dedicated to the exhibition and trade of imports and exports and the clustering of industries in product flow, logistics, finance, information, warehousing, and cross-border services. 

Mao Xiong, senior partner and executive head of the Changsha office, Zhou Zhengping, head of the office’s international practice department and a few other attorneys were invited to the event, during which Mao signed a strategic cooperative agreement with the exhibition and trade center on the provision of legal service. 

The event was also attended by approximately 300 people, including He Baoxiang, vice-governor of Hunan province, Zhou Yue, deputy head of Department of Commerce of Hunan, Zhang Yingchun, vice mayor of Changsha, and commercial councillors of the UK, France, Italy and Thailand to China and representatives from chambers of commerce and businesses in and outside China.
