Nepalese Legal Experts Delegation Visits Dacheng
On August 19, 2014, a delegation of Nepalese legal experts headed by Congressman Hon. Ran Narayan Bidari visited Dacheng’s Beijing headquarters. They were received by Dacheng’s executive director Wang Jun and senior partner Zhu Rongrui. Wang and Zhu gave an overview of our firm and answered questions raised by the guests in relation to China’s legal education, bar exam, taxation on lawyers’ earnings and lawyers’ part-time work.
The five members of the delegation are not only law practitioners but also members or advisors of Nepal’s legislature. Before coming to Dacheng, they had been to Legislative Affairs Commission of the National People’s Congress, the Supreme People’s Court, the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, the Legislative Office of the State Council, China Law Society and All China Lawyers Association where they learned about China’s legal system and rule of law. The delegation also put an emphasis on the visit to Dacheng to exchange experience on law firm management and practice of law.
