Peng Xuefeng Visits South Korea with CPPCC Delegation
On July 30 to August 3, 2014, Chairman Peng Xuefeng, who is also a member of CPPCC standing committee, visited Korea with a CPPCC cultural exchange delegation.
The delegation was received and entertained by Chung Ui-hwa, South Korea’s National Assembly Speaker. It had in-depth exchanges with the National Assembly and paid a visit to Samsung plants and CJ Entertainment (the country’s largest film distributor and investor).
Friendly games of Go were played between the delegation and the National Assembly. Peng, an excellent Go player, participated in the matches on behalf of the China side. The two sides established and enhanced mutual friendship while playing games.
