Dacheng Attorney Lu Hada Honored by United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee

On February 27, the 2014 Working Conference of Non-Party Intellectuals Advisory Groups of United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee was held at the Central Institute of Socialism. Over a hundred people from 12 groups gathered in Beijing, reported their work in 2013 and learned about the Department’s plan for 2014. Chen Xiqing, vice secretary of the Department, delivered a keynote speech and awarded outstanding groups and individuals for their work in 2013. In all the 19 lists of honors, the Political Science and Law Group, of which senior partner Lu Hada is a member, won seven honors and he himself was elected “outstanding liaison member”.

The Non-Party Intellectuals Advisory Group is a form of united front work and an important platform for non-Party intellectuals to tap their expertise and advise the state on important, complex and hot issues. Their findings and advice are highly respected by Party and government leaders, some of which are adopted as the basis for making policies and laws.

Attorney Lu Hada is actively involved in research projects and advisory work in an effort to promote the rule of law in China. His efforts are unanimously recognized by the United Front Work Department and the Political Science and Law Group.
