July 26th to August 2nd, 2009, as a convener, director of Dacheng, duputy of the Eleventh National People’s Congress Peng Xuefeng led a thematic investigation group to Zhangjiakou and Chengde of Hebei province and investigated the status of ecological resources and the implementation of ecological compensation with officials of department of government of Hebei province, studied on the establishment of ecological compensation mechanism in Zhangcheng region, increasing the Three-North Shelterbelt and Beijing and Tianjin forest of sandstorm source control. Investigation report will be ended in the near future.
