Vancouver – Dentons has strengthened its Construction and Litigation and Dispute Resolution groups in Canada with the addition of partner Alim Khamis. Based in Vancouver, Alim joins from Dentons' Dubai office where he spent six years in the Construction and Dispute Resolution practices.

Admitted to practise in both Canada (British Columbia and Ontario) and Australia, and having previously practised construction law in the Middle East and Australia, Alim specializes in resolving complex disputes in the construction, infrastructure and energy sectors. He has acted for clients internationally, such as across the GCC, Australia and Asia, in all forms of dispute resolution including litigation, international and domestic arbitration, adjudication, expert determination and mediation, and sits as a mediator who regularly provides training to other mediators.
