As China faces mounting economic downward pressure, non-performing loan ratio of commercial banks is climbing. By the end of 2018, balance of non-performing loans at commercial banks in China will have exceeded 2 trillion yuan. The reorganization of distressed enterprises has now become one of the most sought-after services and this trend is expected to continue for a long time to come.

It is against this background that the forum focuses its theme on special financial asset management. The forum was hosted by Zhang Wei, head of Dentons Beijing office’s Banking, Finance, Insurance and Wealth Management group. Ping Yunwang, head of the Finance Committee of Dentons Beijing office was one of the guest speakers.
