On March 24, 2019, the Joint (Enlarged) Meeting of the Directors of the 2019 All China Lawyers Association Professional Committee was held in Beijing. The meeting was the first of its kind held by the All China Lawyers Association Professional Committee and its management team after their adjustment. 131 directors, deputy directors and secretary-generals of 18 professional committees attended the meeting, of which there are 5 Dentons China lawyers.

Approved by the Ministry of Justice and the National Lawyers Party Committee, a total of 151 lawyers served as directors, deputy directors and secretary generals of the professional committees. Dentons China had five lawyers in relevant positions, specifically:

At the joint meeting, Han Xiutao, secretary general of the All China Lawyers Association, put forward five ideas for the construction of the professional committee: Build up a team with "respect" as its central idea; Develop a plan with "professional" as its central idea; Conduct a survey with “Down to earth” as its central idea; Improve a set of rules with "responsibility" as its central idea; Take an assessment with “taking the exam” as its central idea.

During the meeting, the professional committees studied and implemented the deployment of the Central Party and Ministry of Justice, that is consistent with the spirit of the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping. The professional committee has conducted a group discussion on how to better carry out the work, studied the Working Rules of the Professional Committee of the All China Lawyers Association and given advice for amendments.
