On February 13, 2015, a team from Dacheng’s Zhuhai office, by working jointly with Beijing-based senior partner Li Hongqi and Shanghai-based senior partner Wang Weidong, won the bid of becoming the standing legal counsel for Guangdong-Macau Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd..
Guangzhou-Macau Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Industrial Park is the first project launched inside the Guangzhou-Macau Industrial Park of Cooperation. It is also the first project launched by the two sides since Guangzhou-Macau Cooperation Framework Agreement was signed between the municipal government of Guangzhou and Macau SAR in Beijing on March 6, 2011. When the project started on April 19, 2011, Huang Huahua, the then provincial governor of Guangdong and Cui Shian, administrator of Macau SAR attended the launching ceremony.
Guangzhou-Macau Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Industrial Park focuses on developing and trial-manufacturing TCM. In the long run, the park will integrate such functions as TCM treatment, health preservation, S&T transference, exhibition and logistics and build itself into an international TCM S&T industrial base capable of attracting competitive hi-tech enterprises.
