Xinjiang Equity Exchange Retains Dacheng as Standing Legal Counsel

On March 15 2014, senior partners Yang Shuwen and Jia Xinhui from Dacheng’s Urumqi office were retained as standing legal counsel for Xinjiang Equity Exchange. The attorneys would advise the Exchange on day-to-day management and operation, compliance and risk control.

Xinjiang Equity Exchange is the only autonomous region-level equity exchange in China. It was founded by the government of Xinjiang autonomous region following a proper integration of Xinjiang’s assets and equity transfer market. The Exchange serves as a platform for all types of assets and equity transfers, to which unified information disclosure requirements, transactional rules, assets and equity identification and authentication mechanisms, settlement methods and service charge standards are applied.

The team of attorneys would provide a wide range of services for the Exchange, which include offering legal counsel for the Exchange on its handling of property rights transfer instituted by businesses of various ownerships, transfer of assets, equity, IP rights, scientific and technological achievements and mineral resources instituted by administrative institutions; analyzing transactional information collected by the Exchange, assessing risks involved and offering legal opinions; advising the Exchange on its services related to M&A, corporate ownership and assets restructuring, listing, SMEs financing, project financing, venture capital entry and exit; assisting the Exchange in building an open capital market; conducting commercial investigations commissioned by the Exchange and offering legal counsel for the Exchange in the course of its contact with affiliated companies.

Senior partners Yang Shuwen and Jia Xinhui would be assisted by attorneys Yu Xiaoyan, Xu Xuemei, Zhang Jing and Li Jin whiling acting as standing legal counsel for the Exchange.
