Yunnan Fuwai Hospital for Cardiovascular Diseases Investment Co., Ltd. recently retained a Kunming-based team of attorneys to advise it on the construction of Yunnan Fuwai Hospital for Cardiovascular Diseases and Yunnan Pan-Asia Hospital for Cardiovascular Diseases.

The two hospitals, which would be funded by the People’s Government of Yunnan and Fuwai Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, would become the largest specialized hospital for cardiovascular diseases in China with the fullest range of advanced equipment for diagnosis and treatment. The hospitals would not only serve patients from Yunnan and other provinces in China, but also those from ASEAN countries, especially countries bordering Yunnan.

Yunnan Fuwai Hospital for Cardiovascular Diseases Investment Co., Ltd. was formed by Yunnan Medical Investment Management Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Yunnan Investment Group, to take charge of the construction projects. The projects, expected to complete within two or three years, would cost a total of RMB3.3bn.

The Dacheng team is composed of senior partner Zhou Yourong, partner Mi Qiang, attorneys Cheng Jiaqing, Li Yong and Peng Jiao.
