From November 3 to November 5, 2018, the China Behavior Law Association held the 2018 First Administrative Law Forum in Beijing. As the organizer of the Xiamen sub-forum, Dentons Xiamen office welcomed in lawyers and government staff from Guangzhou, Jiangxi, Jiangsu and other places working in administrative law to share experience and for an in-depth conversation.

Founded in the 1980s, the China Behavior Law Association is a comprehensive legal association approved by the Ministry of Justice and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. It is a national first-tier Association. Its predecessor was the behavioral law professional committee of the Chinese Behavior Science Association, which was sparkplugged by the well-known scientist Qian Xuesen, and was initiated and co-established by leading experts and scholars in China's legal field. The current chairman is the chief justice Jiang Bixin. After years of development, members of the Association include experts and scholars from across the central and the grassroots legal departments working in related fields, many of whom are experienced leaders, renowned experts and scholars, and subject pioneers.

The first-ever three-day administrative law professional forum was a thought-provoking feast for the lawyers and government staff engaged in in administrative law. After the successful conclusion of the forum, Lu Jing of Dentons Xiamen office issued training completion certificates for the participants. This forum has created a good learning atmosphere and evoked interest amongst the participants, who highly praised Dentons Xiamen office’s efforts in organizing the sub-forum. All participants looked forward to the next opportunity to share and learn.
