On September 3, at the 5th Congress of the Fujian Young Legal Professionals Association (FYLPA), Zheng Xiongying, a partner of Dentons Fuzhou office, was elected as the vice president.

The FYLPA is led by the Communist Youth League Fujian Provincial Committee, and is composed of well-known young legal experts, scholars, professors, leading lawyers and other legal professionals within the province, as well as young civil servants working in the province's legislative, administration and law enforcement, and judicial organs. The purpose of the association is to unite and guide the wider young legal professionals, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of young people, strengthen the rule of law for juveniles, prevent and reduce juvenile delinquency, and serve the healthy growth and development of adolescents.
