On July 30, 2015, attorney Ki-yul Kim from Dacheng’s Beijing Office was invited by the Ministry of Justice of South Korea to the “Appointment of legal advisory committee by Ministry of Justice of South Korea for small- and medium-sized enterprises conducting offshore investment”.

As the important main forces to invest overseas, small- and medium-sized enterprises are highly respected and strongly supported by South Korea government. The purpose to set up the legal advisory committee is exactly to provide South Korean small- and medium-sized enterprises which intend to invest overseas to open factories with better legal services.

Large law firms in South Korea in full attended this event and lawyers representing the firms accepted the letters of appointment from Ministry of Justice as members of legal advisory committee. In addition to the South Korean law firms, Dacheng attended this appointment event as the only foreign law firm.

Dacheng’s South Korean attorney Ki-yul Kim, an experienced lawyer specializing in advising South Korean companies on investing in China, accepted the appointment by Hyun-oong Kim, the Minister of Justice, as one member of the committee.

This appointment once again proves Dacheng’s leadership in South Korea-related legal services among Chinese large law firms.
