Shanghai-based IP Attorneys Contribute Suggestions for Revising Implementing Regulations for the PRC Trademark Law (Draft)

Recently, the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council released Implementing Regulations for the PRC Trademark Law (Draft) and accompanying explanations to the public to seek comments and opinions. The draft had been prepared by the State Administration of Commerce and Industry and was submitted to the State Council for review.

The Intellectual Property practice of Dacheng’s Shanghai office echoed the central government’s call and convened members twice to discuss key issues in the regulations in great detail. Their constructive suggestions were delivered to the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council in both written and electronic forms. Shanghai office’s IP practice had also contributed ideas during the legislation process of China’s Copyright Law and Trademark Law.
